About

IAM is a non-profit organization that has been building a sense of identity and community among Minnesotans who are of Indian origin or who have an interest in India. We serve to represent and advance the diverse interests of the Asian Indian community of Minnesota.

Our History

For over 40 years, we’ve been working to preserve, promote, connect and representthe cultures of India that have relocated to and have been thriving in the Land of 10,000 Lakes

We began in 1973 as a small organization known as the India Club of Minnesota. Over the course time, our organization has grown to include 40,000 members that represent a microcosm of the plethora of cultures, traditions, customs and languages of India

Our Vision

We seek to represent people - with an interest in the culture and heritage of India - to build a sense of cohesiveness within this community, represent the community to the population at large, and serve as the focal point for advancing the cultural, charitable, academic, political and professional interests of the Asian Indian community in Minnesota.
